Dianne and Ian Smith s Heritage Stonehouse Gardens consists of two and a half acres of exquisite English or Cottage style gardens with woodlands, a rose garden, mainly planted with David Austins, a Knot garden, as well as, four other seasonal gardens, water features, interesting sculptures, rare and interesting perennials, and orderly apple and cherry orchards.
A permanent display of unique sculptures created by Damon Wills, are available for visitors to purchase.
Family history makes Ian a fourth generation orchardist on the property.
Dianne designed and created the many magical gardens.
The rose garden contains more than 300 roses flowing from fences and archways. A natural water spring divides the Spring and Summer gardens.
Strategically placed garden seats, bright blue cane chairs invite the visitor to picnic or just rest and contemplate the beauty of the many and varied flowers, plants and special perennials which contribute to the magic of the gardens.
